A Marching Band and Live Ceremony Painter? This Wedding Had It All!

Casey and Sean’s wedding was truly stunning — between panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean as seen from the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California right down to the lush ivory rose and orchid floral arrangements by Nisie’s Enchanted Florist. It’s the personalized details and little surprises that really make this West Coast wedding standout though.
Working alongside planner Jeannie Savage of Details Details, Casey and Sean found unique ways to weave their Irish and Italian heritage into the day. Irish traditions like hand-fasting, blessing of the bells and bag pipes were incorporated into the ceremony, while an “Italian vs. Irish” theme brought a fun, festive edge to reception. A beer tasting station was set up during cocktail hour where guests could sample Irish and Italian beers and vote for their favorites and the couple served up small Italian sweets like wedding almonds and cookies.
A paper flower wall, a tablecloth made entirely of roses (both by Nisie’s Enchanted Florist) and custom made rose gold chairs were subtle details took the reception décor to the next level. And did we mention the marching band and live ceremony painter? This wedding seriously had it all!
